POSITIVE FEEDBACK FOR POPULAR FRANKLIN POSITIVE AGING EXPO.

Trust members Rae Heatley and Jan Somerville represented Counties Manukau Homecare Trust at the October Franklin ‘Positive Aging’ Expo in Pukekohe. A popular event on the local calendar, the expo brings together ‘stories, information and connection’ for the growing number of people who are Aging Well.
"It’s just got better,” Rae commented on the Expo. She says that they were delighted to receive many compliments about the Trust’s services, and the quality of care provided by the Support workers. ‘It’s so affirming when you’re meeting and talking with people who have experienced the work that CMHT carries out,” Jan explains.
Rae has attended upwards of ten of the annual expos and in her opinion 2024 was one of the best that she’s been to.
‘There are so many people who are passionate about what they are doing, whether it’s crafting, or learning new skills or travelling around the country.”
