About Us


Counties Manukau Homecare (formerly "60-plus” and then later "Counties Homecare Services”) was established in 1990 by the Family Support Centre, a community based multi-service centre located in Pukekohe. In 2005, Counties Manukau Homecare became a Trust and was incorporated under the Charitable Trusts Act 1957 in June 2006.

Counties Manukau Homecare Trust is contracted to:

  • The Ministry of Health
  • Counties Manukau District Health Board

Our services cover Manukau City and the greater Papakura and Franklin Districts. We also provide a Short Term emergency home help service for Franklin Plunket and welcome private paying clients who are not eligible for funding.

Our Support Workers are caring, professional and trained. A National Certificate in Health and Well being Level 2, is a required compulsory qualification. We employ approximately 170 Support Workers to cover 7 days a week care. We pride ourselves in providing and continually striving for consistent, reliable, professional and quality care. Service Plans are specific to our individual client’s needs and our Service Coordinators are qualified Health Professionals.


Our main office is located in Pukekohe, with small satellite offices in Papakura and Waiuku.
